Laser cutting processing uses laser beams to replace traditional mechanical knives. It has the characteristics of high accuracy, fast cutting speed, not limited to cutting pattern limitation, smooth cut and low processing cost, and will gradually improve or replace the traditional metal cutting process. There is no need to contact the material to be processed, and it will not cause scratches on the surface of the workpiece during work; the laser cutting speed is fast, the cut is smooth and smooth, and generally no subsequent processing is required.

Fiber laser cutting principle and application field

Fiber laser cutting uses a high-energy density laser beam of the fiber laser to focus on the surface of the workpiece, causing the area illuminated by the focused spot to instantly melt or vaporize, and at the same time, it assists the blowing air to blow away the slag, forming a smooth cutting slit. Fiber laser cutting has a wide range of applications and is widely used in various manufacturing and processing industries such as sheet metal processing, aviation, aerospace, electronics, electrical appliances, local automobiles, precision accessories, ships, metallurgical equipment, household appliances, craft gifts, tool processing, metal external processing, kitchen utensil processing and other manufacturing and processing industries.

MOPA fiber laser cutting process

The cutting process of MOPA fiber laser is mainly divided into two categories: (1) Cutting by cutting head, the laser beam is focused through the cutting head and irradiated to the surface of the workpiece, and at the same time assists in coaxial blowing, and cuts through the movement of the XY axis platform; (2) Cutting by using a galvanometer, the laser beam reflects the laser light to the surface of the material through the rotation of the XY galvanometer, and at the same time assists in the blowing of the air to perform cutting. This article mainly introduces the process of cutting MOPA lasers using galvanometers. Figure (1) is the basic principle diagram of galvanomic cutting
