Nozzle selection
The laser cutting nozzle can assist the rapid ejection of gas, which can effectively prevent debris such as melting from bouncing up, and then protect the focusing mirror. At the same time, it can control the gas diffusion area and size, which will affect the cutting quality of the laser cutting machine. At the same time, the aperture size of the nozzle will vary according to the thickness of the cutting material. The larger the aperture of the nozzle, the less protective effect it has on the focusing mirror. Therefore, a reasonable choice of the size of the nozzle aperture of the laser cutting machine can be more effectively produced.
1. When cutting thin sheet (less than 3mm). The nozzle with the aperture of 1mm will be thinner, while the nozzle with the aperture of 1.5mm will be thicker, and the corner will be easier to contain stains, and the gas consumption will be large.
2. When cutting thick plates (more than 3mm). The nozzle with 1mm aperture is not stable when used. Because the cutting power is higher at this time, the relative heat dissipation time is longer, the relative cutting time also increases, and the gas diffusion area of the nozzle with a medium 1mm aperture is small, so it is not stable, but basically it can be used. The selected nozzle with a diameter of 1.5mm has a large gas diffusion area and a slow gas flow rate, so it is relatively stable when cutting.
3. when cutting more than 10mm sheet. At present, the nozzle with a diameter of 2mm or more is generally selected.

Controls
Adjust the correct position of the laser cutting machine nozzle:
Before each plate cutting, it is necessary to detect whether the laser is in the center of the nozzle, and adjust the coaxiality if the focused light is not in the nozzle.
Common coaxiality adjustment steps in production are as follows.
(1) The end face of the laser cutting machine nozzle is coated with the color of the printing mud, and then the self-adhesive tape is affixed to the end face.
(2) Punch holes with 10 to 20 watts of power, and observe the phenomenon, and then take out the white sticker to pay attention not to rotate its relative position.
(3) When the nozzle position is too different from the laser center, it will not be able to hit the center point.
(4) Try to hit the center point, when sometimes large and sometimes small, please pay attention to whether the conditions are consistent, whether the focusing lens is loose.
(5) When the center point is not in the center of the laser cutting machine nozzle, the adjustment screw can be repeatedly adjusted until the process requirements are met.
